A year after the release of their debut album, Unherz return with a brand new release called “Herzschlag”. It’s the first time that I listened to their music and I can’t say that I am impressed, on the contrary listening to the album left me completely indifferent. Besides the music that could be labeled as classic Heavy Metal and has some good riffing here and there (nothing that we haven’t already heard before) I didn’t find anything else to grab my attention.

\r\nThe band returned three years after their last release with another full length that has it all. Power, agression, speed and perfect production. Great Thrash riffs, nice leads, excelent bass and drumming and Anton Reisenegger delivering nice aggressive Thrash vocals. The production is very nice and the whole album has great sound.\r\n

Furor Gallico is a very promising act! After listening to their self titled debut album I ended up concluding that music knows neither boundaries nor nationality. But let me explain the reason that triggered that thought. By listening to the album with the impressive celtic melodies emerging from a death metal background I thought that this is about another English or Scandinavian band. So imagine my surprise when I found out that Furor Gallico are Italians and they play “Pagan Metal” at its best!
\r\nYet another Powerwolf album meant to fulfill the need for powerful heavy metal riffs, endeavoring lyrics, turbulence guitars and eerie vocals. You can’t miss with a recipe like this. That’s mainly the reason why Powerwolf have become one of the most promising bands around ever since they surfaced the metal scene back in 2003. With every new release they become better more bounded, more solid and their sound is always exhilarating.
