\r\n-Battlecross- is a Thrash/Power Metal band that hails from Canton, Michigan. The band was formed in 2003 and till now they have released one Demo and one self- released full length in 2010. This year the band managed to sign with Metal Blade Records and now they are ready to release their second full length album. \r\n
\r\nNot long after the release of their debut album the guys from Patra/Greece loose no time and strike again with a fresh new work. Hell yes, new material that actually shows the band’s progress and a new face. A face that is a lot more complete and brutal. I could get happier!

\r\n IWABO are a female fronted band. Are you black-velvet-widows happy now? Are you expecting yet another typical case of band like Within Temptation so you can dance around under the "metal" sign? Wipe thar smile off your face now. Let’s move on.

When referring to Saxon, there is certainly no need to use lengthy introductions, nor to mention their past achievements by saying who they are and what they have accomplished and offered. We’re talking about Saxon, right? One of the greatest bands of the past, the present and the future. I’ve never met anyone in my entire life that has been even once disappointed by any of their releases, even more by their live performances. To make a long sentence short, Saxon kick some serious ass!
\r\nWe are in the middle of the year, yet some people already consider this album as the best one for 2011; Well, I can’t but agree with that.
\r\nFor many years now the band is on a very high level. Symphony X is one of the most important “forces” in Progressive Metal, releasing stunning albums throughout the years, so it is essential for everyone to take them into serious consideration, especially after this release.
\r\nMany fans tend to compare them to Running Wild; it’s true that their influence overshadows the compositions; however I think that the band is closer to the style of Gamma Ray.
\r\nOnce you listen to LOVE.MIGHT.KILL you will spot out that there’s something from FIREWIND “in the air”. The band was formed two years ago by their drummer Michael Ehré (FIREWIND/ METALIUM/ ULI JON ROTH) and this is their debut album, “Brace For Impact”.
\r\nHatebreed’s frontman is a persona that happens to be respected by the majority of the scene. Either for music related reasons or anything else, this guy has done productions, has helped promote fellow bands and generally he’s an active dude. This album is his first effort to a personal level. Some may wonder: what is there for him to give other than his characteristic work in Hatebreed? To be honest I haven’t been the biggest HB fan around but this here album seems to be showing a new face of dear mr J.

\r\nSorehead play boring metalcore, generic and heard a zillion times. Damn it, things seem bad from the very first riff. You can easily guess they’re a young act. Counting only 4 years of existence, they record and release a debut that does not speak to the core....
