The fourth album by the US based outfit , Fall Of Empyrean is already spinning in my cd player tray and the atmosphere is getting heavier and heavier in here. Fall Of Empyrean, as I have already said is a US based outfit that serves the Doom / Death metal sound since 2000, during this period of time they ‘ve managed to gain the respect and the recognition amongst the Doom metal circle worldwide and I strongly believe that after the listening of their new album (2010) “A Life Spent Dying” they ll get some more.
\r\nHeavy Metal.. old school power metal.. well, it doesn’t really make much difference when it comes to music, as music itself is what matters rather than the categories.
\r\nThe band was formed on August, 2008; a year later the first EP is ready, under the guidance of RD Liapakis. Later on, their guitarist, Joeri, leaves the band for family reasons and Steve Deleu (ex-GWYLLION) takes his place.
\r\nSo, here we are in 2011. Fireforce are about to release their first full length studio album and, once more, RD Liapakis “marks” the release.
No Hand Path is a Greek black metal band and their first album entitled "An Existence Regained " is here after a long time. When these guys formed the band back in 2006 they were playing a more traditional black metal in the veins of the old classic bands of the scene. They released then their first demo entitled "First Farewell" and you could listen to their influences by this old black metal spirit. But after that it seems that the band became more mature i can say, resulting in 2011’s "An Existence Regained" and here we have a great album.

\r\nThere’s a quote that goes “looks can be deceiving”, and I am sure that concerning the German goths Katanga is more than suitable! Looking at the fantastic cover artwork with the crow and the violinist under the full moon and misled by the title “Moonchild” I subconsciously thought of Fields Of The Nephilim but it seems that my first impression was slightly amiss.
\r\nCategorizing, labels, mandatory characterization. Greeks Earth of Distrust easily piss on these deeds and do as they please. Call it punk, sludge, metal, post something or a cheeseburger. What matters is that they are good at whatever it is they do and do it in their own personal style.

\r\n2010 was finally the moment that Kvazar unleashed their very long-awaited first inhuman
\r\nattack. I was expecting this album a long time as something was telling me that it will be a
\r\ngreat debut. I was not wrong and when finally the album reached my hands i put it in my
\r\nplayer with pleasure..\r\n
\r\nONE MORE RE-RELEASE \r\n
\r\n
\r\nOne more re-release is here to be added to the list of Hammerheart Records for the Swedish band, -Necrophobic-. The specific album is the first album that the band released via Hammerheart Records in 2002 and now is the second time that this label is releasing this album. \r\n
\r\nTHE THIRD ALBUM NOW RE-RELEASED \r\n
\r\n
\r\n-The Third Antichrist- is the third album that Swedish Deathsters, -Necrophobic- are re-releasing through Hammerheart Records. A must buy album for all the fans that hasn’t buy this album yet. \r\n
\r\nThere are some bands playing Goth metal outhere but unfortunately the term "goth" has
\r\nnot its original meaning anymore, resulting in the crapy records we get in times by those
\r\nbands. Goth metal is not my kind and this is a difficult review for me ’cause we have great
\r\nmusic and feeling here. Ava Inferi is a goth metal band from Portugal but they have
\r\nmembers from bands like Mayhem, Aura Noir etc...In addition to that, in the vocals they
\r\n Τhe modern metal scene has now a new child to be proud of. This fine young act releases their debut cd in the form of a self financed EP and set new standards in the greek extreme sound. Yes, I will have to label music again just so that I can deliver a more clear view of their creation. I have to! So, deathcore is the sport but not exactly the type you have in mind dear mr. "only oldschool". So hold your horses til you drop an ear on this EP.
