Cannibalistic Death Metall!!! It’s all about the first release by Bone Gnawer an all star – death metal outfit featuring Kam Lee on vocals (Mantas / Death , Massacre, Hateplow etc), Morgan Lie (the drummen of Naglfar) and no only.
Every time that a promo release of Pulverised Records reaches me, I know before even push the “play” button that this is gonna be an “extreme” release and the weird part is that for sure I am gonna love the album. Well this is a fact that I can’t explain, but an easy explanation is that these guys from Pulverised know for good what they release. So this time I got the promo of the outfit Sanctification and judging by the tail “-ation” this is all about Death Metal!
It was about time for the second release of the finish outfit Colosseum. I Dare to admit that many times I found my self playing their first effort “Chaper I : Delirium” on my stereo, so as you may realize my expectations for their second outcome “Chapter II : Nunquam” are high
Soulfallen is a Finnish based outfit and seems not to cherish the way that most of the Finnish bands move into music industry, to gain easy success with this so – called operatic female fronted metal. These guys differ in the most creative way.
\r\n“Grave New World” is their second release and I consider it as a really good outcome, that combines melodic death metal with dark atmosphere and extremely well structured, something that must be the best feature of Soulfallen for sure.
Syrach is a Norwegian based outfit and according to Napalm, their label, they play doom metal.
\r\nIn “A Dark Burial” album I can trace many influences from the UK Doom metal scene of the mid 90’s and bands such as My Dying Bride, Anathema etc, but since they are Norwegians, Syrach can’t avoid using some atmospheric black metal aesthetics, Also some death metal influences are present.
\r\nThey’ve been telling me over and over again “if you haven’t listened to Outloud yet, you should check them out” anyway I wasn’t expecting that their album would be as good as described.
\r\nI have to admit that I still curse myself for not having listened to this album a couple years ago, but thankfully this re – release helped me to realize the value of the US outfit Hellwitch and I strongly believe that it will help many of you to discover this band after all these years.
Well… these mad Swedes Thrashers FKU are back with their 3rd full length release through metal on metal records. For those that are unaware of FKU, I d like to quote that is all about an old school thrash metal group in the vain of Exodus, onslaught etc and they are fans of horror movies and horror in general with a great sense of humor on their lyrics.
Metal on Metal Records this time provides us with the third release from the US based outfit Midnight Idols, and it couldn’t sound different than classic heavy metal of the past, played today.
