Hibria hailing us from Porto Alegre, and despite the fact that this is only their second release, they managed to deliver us a very professional album. The album entitled “The Skull Collectros” and is a classic power metal album clearly influenced by the European power metal scene in the vain of Helloween, GammaRay etc. in general these Brizilian guys own a very German sound.
Chris Impelliteri has returned with a brand new release, after 4 years of silence (Between these years thas been released also the “Live! Fast! Loud!” best of) The title of the album is “Wicked Maiden” and for once more we meet mr Rob Rock behind the microphone stand of Imperlliteri. So the band uses again a successful recipe that has been used again in the past several times, provides us with a great mix of heavy metal / shredding album, something that works great since 1987.
\r\nPower metal, heavy riffing, female vocals and plenty of epic feeling. We respect the traditions; we admit it now and then. In this case, we have an album of “traditional” power metal which’ title gives us the idea concerning the main theme of the lyrics, and of course Elisa’s performance and the compositions as well absolutely serve this purpose. Classical style with the aggressive tone that fits here, but with only a few exceptions, which concern some parts into the songs, unfortunately the compositions are not anything new.
\r\nThat ‘s the fifth album for the Germans Agathodaimon after a long time absence from the music scene. The band still plays in the same style, by combining the atmospheric elements of Dimmu Borgir with the heavy guitars of Satyricon.
Well, there’s nothing more for a doomed soul to ask for about new releases this year. New album for Isole, new album for Candlemass and now a new release from Forsaken. Well It would be great if there will be also a new Solitude Aeturnus album but that’s too much I suppose.

\r\nARCHITECTS OF REPULSION \r\n \r\n
\r\nAustralian technical Deathsters - The Red Shore - were formed in 2005 and have released two Demos and an Ep. After facing serious problems from the big car accident that cost the life of their singer - Damien Moris - , they managed to reborn from the ashes ,find a new vocalist ,sign with Siege of Amida Records and release their first full length album, with the title - Unconsecrated -. \r\n

\r\n-Devious- are formed in 2000 and already released their first album in 2003.After many concerts and festivals with many known bands they released their second work , with the title - Domain. The band is doing a new start with a new vocalist and the news are good. Good quality Thrash-Death Metal with atmosphairic mood. \r\n
\r\n"To Hear The Trumpets Call" consists of two new songs, a re-recording\r\nof a previously released track, and a thrash influenced remix. Because\r\nof the lack of new content, and the fact that most of these songs can\r\nbe found on the band’s MySpace page, the EP is probably aimed more\r\ntowards new fans who want to find out if they like Hauk’s sound or not.
