The First album for the U.S. outfit, Apostle Of Solitude is a fact and it sounds the way that many of us expected to sound, having in mind their previous E.P. in 2006
\r\nThe Album entitled “Sincerest Misery” and even from the first note, the listener realizes what is about to listen to, down tempo, soul torturing doom metal, somewhere between Trouble, Candlemass and the rest of the Doom Metal giants.

\r\nMetal Church are unfortunately one of these bands that never drew the attention they deserved,
\r\nand really I can’t figure out why. Ok like most of the bands they had their drawbacks, especially
\r\nin the 00’s but ,generally speaking, they never released an album which someone could say was
\r\nless than average. “This present wasteland” is a very good album, is what we would call “a
\r\nclassic Metal Church” .It has all these elements that would define Metal Church, thrashy riffs

\r\nThis is the debut album of Karmic Link, a band which was created by Stathis Kassios (Nightfall, System Shock) and the charismatic voice of Mina G (Kinetic, The Rain I Bleed) gave “flesh and bones” to it around the year 2006. Recordings followed up in the well-known Tico Tico Studios in Finland and with Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND), who is behind all the rhythm and lead guitars, and Jani Liimatainen (SONATA ARCTICA) in one out of the two instrumental tracks of the album, as guest musicians, we have “No light but rather darkness visible”.

\r\n“Zero Order Phase” is the first solo release of Jeff Loomis, guitarist and one of the founding members of Nevermore. This album being an instrumental release gives us the opportunity to listen to Jeff’s well known talent in composing various tracks and his unquestionable guitar technique. Loomis in this album ,besides the guitars has also recorded the bass parts and with Mark Arrington’s help (former Nevermore member) on the drums is composing a very good instrumental album.
